The Makila Lab is a single flap, deep-seated dressage saddle which helps the engagement of the pelvis, improves the action of aids and heightens sensations. Its prominent knee and thigh blocks and stirrup bars set further back than usual provide the rider with perfect stability and very precise leg contact. Its attached flaps provide comfort and improved contact for the rider. Lastly, its wide, D3D panels allow pressure to be spread more evenly on your horse’s back (+30% load-bearing capacity). Use this saddle for dressage or on the flat. Registered model.

Leather requires regular, appropriate care to avoid premature wear and tear and preserve its full aesthetic appeal. Here are the right things to do to ensure your leather is maintained correctly.
To ensure resilience and maximum comfort, we use different types of leather in the manufacture of our products. However, different leathers do not always respond to oils the same way, and this may affect your item’s final color.
Our saddlemakers therefore have chosen a lighter color for the softer leather, so that the colors match even after oiling.
After each use, clean the leather with Devoucoux Belharra soap and the sheepskin glove or a damp sponge to remove impurities. Never apply soap directly to the leather.
With the sheep glove or a dry cloth, apply the Belharra balm while massaging the leather in order to nourish it ideally once a season and according to the weather.
